This morning we spent on base mingling with the other mums and kids. For about two hours BBB ran around like a mad man, BB drew pictures, and I got to know some new people. We share experiences, trip advice, and things like: where to get your hair cut. It's very good to get out there and listen to all these peeps who know their way around town! :)
Then we went to City Centre Mall. We were there earlier this weekend and looked for furniture. All our furniture will arrive late August, we hope, but we need a guest bed (for PB and MB to sleep on until our furniture arrives) for the guest room, where all our wonderful Guests will sleep when they come and visit. The living room/dining room in the house is H U G E, so we were thinking about buying an extra couch. This weekend we ended up looking in the very modern store, today I found some furniture more along our taste.
Now, we didn't move all the way across the world to spend money on furniture, but we need to make our home feel like a good home, don't we? ;)
Then we went to the large grocery store chain Carrefour and looked around. We found Nutella and croissants,and that's all a person really needs!
Today has been the first official day for PB at work. He has worked the past two weeks, because that's just how it goes, but tomorrow he is THE MAN IN CHARGE! (We hope he gets a desk to go with that title!) (And if he doesn't, MB knows exactly where to find a good one!!)
