I always give a new promotee a "shot at the title"... this SSgt took me up on it. I was very, very surprised. He was tricky, and a bit of a climber (monkey). He had a good grip on my head that was cutting off my air supply. I am glad I am not in a normal work environment where this would be considered inappropriate.
