Dr. Nissan

I took BB to see the pediatrician on base today, Dr. Nissan, and BB only (?) has a cold. She asked me if BB was cranky and fussy, as would be assumed, but I said nooo. I brought her in because I wanted to make sure she wouldn't suffocate on her own mucus or something - BB is happy as a lark!!!
Not much you can do for someone so small, but to give her saline drops in her nose, and angle her mattress so she sleeps half sitting (to drain stuff down to her belly instead of letting it sit in her throat).
Dr. Nissan said at a 45 degree angle would be good. I asked her if duct tape was okay...

BBB is still coughing. Dr Nissan asked me to take him in early next week if he doesn't get any better. He was really, really tired when he came home from Kindy today. Cried and was really fussy. Didn't want this, or that. Nothing was good at all. Some food and a movie helped and then he went straight back outside.
Yesterday PB and BBB built a snow man on the patio. Not quite as big as the one last year, but still a good sized snow-pile-man...with a carrot nose, Afghan shawl and safety goggles.
BBB looks so cute though!!! Covered in snow and BRIGHT RED cheeks!

Kasper has been sneaking out through a hole in the fence! I see her between the fence (on the WRONG side!) and the gardening shack on our neighbors side.
Don't know for sure what she's after. Maybe mice or something.
This morning it was 12 degrees below zero, Centigrades, and Kasper had to go potty. She came back, 30 seconds later, limping! Freezer burns!

PB got a ride to work. He left his car on base when he went on his business trip this week. Yesterday he had the jeep, but I needed it this morning. Hopefully the Benz starts tonight!!!
PB has a bit of a cold himself. Everyone but me. THAT is unusual! Can't wait to get the Airborne from FM in Fargo. If I start taking that stuff I'll never be ill again!!!

Well...

That's it for now. Cooking pork loin w. mushrooms in garlic for dinner. I'm craving the seafood risotto they make at the Italian eatery in Darmsheim. Maybe tomorrow?
