Sunday morning we all went outside for some exercise! Papa B ran with baby B in the jogging stroller, mama b on her new bike and Kasper free as a bird! It was a little bit cold, but we found a new road to explore. We saw horses, ducks in the creek, and some sheep. Very nice!
In the afternoon we went to another market in Esslingen. It's known for it's medieval flare! People dressed in medieval clothes, selling pottery, ropes, food, woodwork made like it was made in medieval times. It was interesting, but overcrowded. Mama B almost had a panic attack, and we thought we lost baby B more than once! The walkways were very narrow and all you basically saw was other people trying to get somewhere. There was food, and dogs, strollers and kids everywhere. We didn't buy anything. Oops, not true, we did buy papa B some socks. We ate at some medieval eatery. A bread roll filled with ham and cheese and baked over a fire. It was like an early calzone I suppose. We also ate huge duplings covered with cinnamon in vanilla sauce, and one in cherry sauce. Baby B played a version of bowling and won a piece of candy. He was on top of the world with that one!
We came back home and did some chores. Papa B had about 8 care packages to send overseas, so he was busy with those. Mama B was busy organizing a menu with grocery list for the week, and baby B was playing. He took a nap in the car on the way home from Essligen, so we could still hear him banging the walls at nine thirty at night!!! He stayed in his room though!
Early bed time for mama B who has sinus issues. Papa B needed some alone time, which he never gets poor thing, and was up late.
New adventures to follow!
