Steak ears!

BB didn't sleep at all last night. As soon as she fell asleep she woke up and started crying. I called the clinic this morning and got her an appointment at 4 PM. She was warm och tired all day, napped fine after lunch. When we got to the appointment she had a 104.4 fever, and when the doctor looked in her ears he said he had N E V E R seen anything like it. Her eardrums were raw looking like steaks. (?) He said she should be screaming and squiriming from the pain, but she was just kind of tired...
Soon she was the talk of the clnic, and the doctor looked more than 3 times in her ears, still amazed.

I don't expect that we'll sleep tonight either, so we'll all be grumpy the next few days... She's on a combination of motrin and tylenol, and anibiotics. He said her fever could spike agan tonight. We go back for a check up on Saturday.

BBB did real well at the clinic and is watching TV now. He did real good in school too. I think he's finally coming around. Cross our fingers.
