week gone by

hi...

we used Memorial Day weekend to repaint almost the entire house. Boy was that worth it, but BOOOY was it boring.
Most our things are in place now, but a few small items still need to be organized. I would say we feel very at home here! It is alovely house.

Yesterday we had the officers and their families over for dinner. There are 34 officers total, and family memners on top of that. YOU do the math!!!
We served great burgers, brats, chiucken and wings. The guests provided sides and desserts. (We'll be eating potato salad for weeks now!!!)

It was good fun!

During the week though we visited a lot with Lisa and Dave and their kids. They were in town to close on a house down the road. It was nice to see them again, and I do hope they actually get to move here!!!
