Wednesday afternoon!

So baby B had a pretty high fever last night, peaked at about 103.7 F (40 C). He didn't sleep so well, and neither did I. But he saw a German doctor this morning and: he'll live! He has an infection in his throat, that also causes the fevers at night. Fever reducing medication is about the only thing we can do for him. And he should be well by the end of the weekend.
The funny, or not so funny, thing is that swallowing hurts, so instead of swallowing his saliva he spits it in an old rag that he carries with him. Better than him spitting and wiping it on me!!!

Bosse's ashes arrived on Tuesday. Along with her bandana and address lable from Fredericksburg. It's actually very nice to have her, or half of her, back where she belongs. I think her final resting place will be in a nice box in our book case. Papa B can build something appropriate, I'm sure, and then she can stay with us.
And, NO, we're not going all crazy, and we're not going to build her a shrine. Just a nice, presentable box. (And if crazy means I can't have silent conversations with her about the good old times, then by all means, call me crazy!!!)

Kasper was picked up last night by the nice friends who are looking after her while we go to Sweden. All her things were gathered in a pile in the hallway, and she knew, for some time, that something was going on. She was very anxious...and so was papa B! As soon as she left he declared that he had empty nest syndrome and that we needed to distract it right away by watching yet another episode of Desperate Housewives!

One house loan ready to go, and four houses lined up and ready to bee seen. Maybe we'll find our retirement home in the next couple of days!!!

Have a great holiday, and we'll be back blogging next week!
Tschuss
